Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James reckons he would be one hell of a player in the National Football League.
That comes after King James answered the light-hearted question as to whether he thought he could help out the stagnant Cleveland Browns side.
"If I put all my time and commitment into it, if I dedicated myself to the game of football, I could be really good, no matter what team I was on," he told ESPN.
Browns coach Eric Mangini swiftly responded saying "I think he should come on down."
And while it was all in good fun, it does raise a curious point.
LeBron was an All-State calibre wide receiver in high school before throwing in the towel to focus his efforts on basketball.
He's still an avid follower of the NBA and if he wanted to, could be a serious threat on offence.
There are others who have done the basketball-football switch - a perfect example is San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates who played basketball in college before being scouted by the NFL.
At 1.92 metres and around 113 kilograms, James would make a huge mobile target for a quarterback.
While it's out of the question for the time being, the notion of LeBron lined up out wide had Browns QB Brady Quinn licking his lips.
"That'd be great," Quinn said.
"Tell him to suit up and let us know, we'll get him working. Obviously he's an incredibly talented athlete. If he wants to try to play a little bit now, we'd be more than willing to pick him up."
But the team's nose tackle Shaun Rogers isn't so sure, firing back at LBJ in jest.
"I have mixed emotions about that. A great athlete? Yes. A football player? No.
"Yeah LeBron, I said it. It's a punishing game. I just don't think you can step off the basketball court after not going through this year in and year out and just play football. From that standpoint, I just don't think it's possible."
Possible or not, LeBron is set to stick to what he knows best on the basketball court.
