Glenna Casalme
Glenna joined the team in 2008 and is ADU's associate producer.
She started working in News and Current Affairs in 1991, while finishing her Degree in Broadcast Communication at the University of the Philippines. After graduating, Glenna started working as segment producer for The Probe Team -- the country's most respected and awarded investigative news program.
During her 13 year career as TV journalist, Glenna worked as segment producer, reporter, assistant director, and associate producer for the top two TV Networks in the Philippines. As a program consultant she helped develop new programs and provided analysis on program feasibility and performance.
In 2004, Glenna took a break from the news industry and became an ESOL teacher for network and media practitioners in Germany, France, and Italy.
Aside from a sharp and critical eye for TV news production, Glenna is also the active sort. She spent her free time touring the Philippines on her Honda 400cc motorbike, and even managed to win third place in the Philippines' 2002 Batangas Racing Circuit Endurance Race Category.
She loves the outdoors and mountain climbing, and has camped in
the crater of the once-active volcano, Mt. Pinatubo. She also
enjoys massages in oriental spas and loves designing and making her
own intricate beaded jewellery.
