Chris Wright
When producer/presenter Melissa Lee took off to Wellington to
join the National Party's ranks, Chris Wright stepped in to
produce. Chris is an award winning and experienced television
professional who spent 20 years with the BBC before making New
Zealand his home.
His credits include the very successful and 11 year run of the
'Taste New Zealand' stable of programmes for TVNZ.
Having made food travel programmes in many Asian countries, from
India through Thailand to Vietnam, Asian destinations and its
people are one of the backdrops to Chris's experience.
Chris enjoys being outdoors, loves kayaking and walking and is a
keen and creative gardener. He enjoys eating all manner of Asian
food - his favourite is a hot creamy Laksa. He can sometimes be
found creating a little mystery of his own in the kitchen.
