800 gm Fish Fillet (firm fish)
1 Tbsp White Vinegar
5-6 Cloves of Garlic, crushed
1 tsp Grated Ginger
1 tsp Salt
2 Cups Chick Pea Flour
1 & 1/2 tsp Adjwain
5 Fresh Green Chillies, finely sliced
1/2 tsp Ground Turmeric
1 tsp Chilli Powder
Oil for deep frying
Cut the fish into large pieces and marinade it with the vinegar
and half the garlic, ginger and salt.
Leave aside for an hour.
Mix the chick pea floor with the adjwain, turmeric, chilli powder, fresh green chillies and the rest of the salt, garlic and ginger.
Make a thick batter adding water a little at a time.
Add the fish into the batter and mix thoroughly.
Heat enough oil in a deep pan or wok.
Deep fry the fish, a few at a time.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve with lemon or lime wedges.
