Generally considered to be the best loosehead prop New Zealand has
produced since Craig Dowd, Woodcock is an expert scrummager and a
tireless worker at the ruck and maul coal face. Although not
usually known as a ball-carrier, he has added that string to his
bow and top-scored for the All Blacks in the 2008 Tri Nations with
three tries. Although he has missed most of the Blues' 2011 Super
Rugby season with a foot injury, he was a a key part of the 2011
World Cup winning All Blacks squad.
