All Blacks fullback Mils Muliaina has laughed off Warren Gatland's comments ahead of the Test in Cardiff on Sunday.
At the Welsh team naming on Tuesday, Gatland reinforced his belief that the All Blacks' "aura is diminishing" and that the side is "vulnerable".
Muliaina played under Gatland when he was coach Waikato and a technical advisor to the Chiefs.
Muliaina said the jibes are just the way "Gatty" works.
Muliaina said he just chuckled a bit when he heard the comments as it is typical Gatland.
They know how tough it is to win in Cardiff, the All Black said, so the side are focusing all their attentions to what happens on the field, not what is said off it.
