All Blacks skipper Richie McCaw is looking to play down the pressure on Dan Carter to return to international rugby.

Graham Henry is yet to announce who will start in the Tri-Nations match against the Wallabies next week in Sydney, but Carter - who returned to All Blacks training on Tuesday - is expected to play ahead of Stephen Donald.

But although the fans are calling for the influential first five-eighth's return in an effort to turn the All Blacks fortunes in the competition around, McCaw has said Carter can no be expected to do it by himself.

MaCaw said no one can expect Carter to be a miracle man and it is up to the rest of the side to get things right.

The All Blacks name their side to play the Wallabies on Saturday.
