Richie McCaw has come to England's defence as the local media continue their full front assault on Martin Johnson and company.

Amongst a raft of complaints from the local scribes is the lack of ball movement from England in their two Tests against Australia and Argentina.

McCaw says your tactics are dictated by the game situation that your facing at the time.
