The inspirational Keven Mealamu is a powerful hooker who is a strong scrummager, accurate lineout thrower and damaging ball runner. The Blues captain is regarded as one of the key leaders in New Zealand rugby and in fact became the All Blacks 63rd captain when he led the side against Scotland at Murray Field in 2008. An automatic selection for any Test 22, Mealamu is now seen as the All Blacks number one hooker and was an integral part of the 2011 World Cup winning squad.
