Welsh coach Warren Gatland remains adamant All Black first-five Daniel Carter will not play in Sunday Morning's Test with Wales in Cardiff.

Gatland points to the selection of Brendon Leonard at halfback as one of the reason why he thinks Carter will be a no-show.

He believes Leonard, being a natural left footed kicker, will give the All Black a left foot-right foot kick option with either Stephen Donald or Mike Delaney at first-five.

But All Black captain Richie McCaw continues to refute the claims.
