Australian bobsleigh pair Astrid Loch-Wilkinson and Cecilia McIntosh will compete at the Vancouver Winter Olympics after their appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport was upheld in Vancouver on Wednesday.

The Australian Olympic Committee was successful in arguing that the duo should be allocated a spot after the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (FIBT) failed to award a place to a team from the Oceania region.

The women's bobsleigh competition starts on February 23.
