We have had a lot of feedback on our Puppies in Prison and Body Beautiful stories

Here's a taste of what you had to say

Puppies in Prison:

If this can help rehabilitate and give these women some purpose, then GO FOR IT! We all make mistakes in our lives and by behaving 'good' while in the program, shows their sorrow and their willingness to give back to the community. They are not just baby sitting the dogs and playing in the sun. Bringing up a puppy like this is HARD work! Well done girls - go for it and prove it's a great program and that it should be extended! Thanks 20/20

Just saw your show on prison inmates training dogs for the disabled. Don't care what anyone thinks, it's a bloody good idea, talk about a 'win-win' situation! Let's give these people the self esteem they need to live in this world, and break the victim cycle. I realise it's not for all prisoners, but let's give those that can the chance. With respect, Mike

KIA KAHA!! Want to share with the ladies that i believe in what they are doing. Everybody has done something they are not proud of. I have a friend that has a great relationship with her seeing-eye dog, and I wouldn't want her to make do without that help. It takes great discipline to train a great dog, and that's a skill worth treasuring right there, as well as the Arohanui it takes. Don't lose hope - there is a place for everybody in this world. Phillipa

I think that the standard that these S*** are living in is more than what the average New Zealander lives in these days & to say they are doing good after what they have been accused for & doing time for is totally unreal. How can trying to train these poor pups make these girls do right???? Seriously they live in a sweet hotel room given the choice if they want to waste their time training these poor dogs to be able to be there for some-one that really needs there for them... Do these people really care what they are doing for the people that need them - I do not think so!! I think it is an easy way out they did they crime they should bloody well do the time!!!! We have care givers out there that are more than willing to do the time to train these dogs... They do not have criminal convictions at all... Why should they be able to feel like they are doing something better when they couldn't do right to start with. Sorry my personal thought. They deserve to do the time & learn from what they have done to get them there in the first place not pretend to find an easy way out.

I can't believe this, after watching this episode great, they have dogs, but after seeing how they live in prison there home looks better then mine. When ACC are crashing and coming down and the people who need more care, how does that contribute to the community. They are in prison a crime they made. They seem as they get to live it comfortably. So lets get up National Party. Why should the innocent suffer. The ones that have been in accidents and hardly get any help. If you have committed a crime live it like s**t. Prison looks better then my home. Im sick of paying taxes for these people and also ACC.

Great programme about the 'Prison Pups!' Could we have more informative, uplifting stories such as these about events happening in NZ, rather than the "Cinderalla Killer' type show, which I can not find a reason for showing.

Body Beautiful:

I thought that I was unique in regard to being able to write or draw on my skin. Your segment on this blew my mind. I would love to learn more about this condition. Thankyou 20/20. I'm not such a "one off" as I thought.

I'd just like to let 20/20 know that I have the same condition of skin with the lady who made her skin condition into the form of "art". I can draw anything on my skin, but it never occured to me to take a photo of them!

Anyway, good on her, taking this condition positive way. If I have any artistic sence, I may be able to make some money, too!? Ha, Ha.

My name is Kylie and after watching your programme last night and in particular the article 'Body Beautiful' I just had to write in. I also suffer from the skin condition dermatographia just like Ariana but unlike her I don't use my body as a canvas. In fact I didn't even know I had a skin condition until I was at the doctors one day and the doctor had to touch my shoulder and my skin came up all hot and red and he asked me if that always happened and I said all my life, then he told me that I had dermatographia which is Latin for writing on the skin. I know Ariana made it look beautiful the way she can create designs on her skin and then photograph them but sometimes its not that pretty. For me just the simplest everyday things such as scratching an itch or kissing my boyfriend can turn into painful embarrassing marks. I think its great what she has done with her skin condition and her art but if someone ever offered me a pill to cure my dermatographia I wouldn't be saying no I would be asking for the glass of water to wash it down. Thank you for taking the time to read my email, I always watch your show and it was great to see an article on it that I could completely relate too. Thanks.

It's scary seeing The Marlborough Kids. When most of the country's population smoke and it's been like that for decades, it's very hard for people to change. This is a country where cigarettes are advertised freely everywhere and they don't ask for ID. I used to love the clove cigarettes, that's how I started smoking (I've been smoke-free for 3 years now). I hope one day it gets better and people would understand better that smoking shouldn't be encouraged.

The win a wife competition was a set up. It takes over a month to get a visa for the Ukraine. The NZ man drought is caused by mail order brides, see latest issue of NZ population review on the feminisation of immigrients here. The average NZ single male has a hard time here, especially if they dont do the bar hoe thing. I have given up dating local women, my best option is to look overseas for a relationship/wife, I'm 48 working semi professional career, I'm invisable here.

Pregnant Men: why did they end up together, they are both female and want to be men. Realistically they could of been happy as Lesbians. So what attracted them together. It was not because they wanted to be with a male, that cause is proof. If he is happy to give birth to children than why not become a female again. He can still where jeans and a shirt. I feel sorry for the baby, a male cannot give birth to a baby.

I would like to add to your story on Baby Daddy's. Why not show a positive side because sometimes it can work out. My Daughter and her partner were just 18 year olds when they became parents. They had been dating for two years and all of a sudden thrown into adult life. It hasn't been easy but now they are both 21, still together, and my Grandaughter is a happy healthy 3 year old. They both work hard, have savings for them and the child, and my Daughter does volenteer work. Not bad aye?
