Running hot

Ido Drent is an unusual name but as you're about to find out, he's an unusual guy.

Ido plays pin up boy Daniel Potts on Shortland Street so you'd think he's got it made - young, hot and constantly surrounded by a bevy of eager women, right?

Well, not quite. He is young and he is hot but at 24 he's just got engaged, doesn't believe in sex before marriage.

Oh, and last month he faced the biggest challenge of his life.

Filthy habits

There are an estimated six million hoarders in the United States and while they suffer terribly from the effects of this devastating mental illness, their families also suffer alongside them.

In fact kids of hoarders often spend a lifetime feeling ashamed and trapped as they live by one, absolute rule - never, ever invite anyone home.

In an eye-opening report, 20/20 looks at the lives of these kids, who come clean about what it's like to grow up behind the closed doors of suburban filth.

Caught on camera

Watch as a greedy woman hires a hit man to kill her own husband and see her reaction when she realizes the whole thing has been caught on tape.

The fake tears, the police interview and the trial - all on camera. The only thing more amazing than that is the defence's claim that it was all just a reality TV stunt.

Don't miss 20/20 - the best of New Zealand and international Current Affairs with reporters, Emma Keeling, Hannah Ockelford, Erin Conroy and Sonya Wilson.
