It's considered one of the most natural things in the world - a mother breastfeeding her baby.

But what happens when that baby turns into a toddler, and then starts school and is still being breastfed? How old is too old?

And why are some people freaked out at the thought of a seven-year-old drinking mother's milk?

20/20's Beth Bates takes a look into the world of extended breastfeeding, and meets a group of Kiwi mums who wouldn't have it any other way - and the now grown-up children who say it was the only thing that soothed them.
