Finding Lino
We put to rest a mystery that has haunted a family for more
than 20 years. John Doe was a man the world seemingly forgot -
until pig hunters stumbled on his skeletal remains in the Waitakere
bush. Nature had slowly stripped away his identity but now, thanks
to a remarkable facial construction, he has been given a face, a
name and dignity in death. We re-unite John Doe with his
family.
White Fright
Imagine being hunted down because your body is thought to
possess magical powers that people want to bottle? For African
albinos living in Tanzania, this is a gruesome reality. Over 54
people with albinism have been killed in the last two years, their
body parts sold for thousands of dollars to witch doctors. We
investigate this heinous and shocking trade.
Coming Out
Without a doubt, this is the most remarkable coming out we've
ever seen. Carly was a severely autistic little girl unable to
speak a word or connect to the world in any way. Or so everyone
thought. When she turned 11-years-old something truly remarkable
happened - she typed her first words: "h-u-r-t" then "h-e-l-p".
This is an amazing story of a little girl breaking free from her
own body.
Calorie Bertinelli
"One day at a time" has taken on a new meaning for Valerie
Bertinelli. The teenage star of the popular '70s sitcom reveals her
self as never before. Well and truly all grown-up, Bertinelli is
back in the public eye as the face - or should that be body - of
Jenny Craig. She speaks candidly about her body, motherhood,
raising a teen rock star and her broken marriage to rocker Eddie
Van Halen.
