20/20 has been overwhelmed by the amazing feedback on
Nick Chisholm's story.
Nick is trapped inside a body that struggles to work - he can't
walk and can't talk, but there is nothing wrong with his brain. His
story has inspired many people to write in to us. We will
pass the feedback on to Nick so if you have something you would

I have never laughed or cried so much in such a small space of time
as I did watching your story. For nine months now i've been on the
brink of suicide (a few attempts along the way) hating my life and
wanting to end it. Nothing has helped me snap out of this funk, not
family, not friends, not substances. But after watching Nick's
gusto for life, his quick wit, and seeing him laugh at himself and
hardcase friends, I realised that life is what you make of it.
Without even knowing me, Nick has given me a new lease on life and
I finally feel like all my impossibilities are possible. -
