Packed To the Rafters Season 3: DVD Review
Packed To The Rafters S3
Rating: M
Released by Universal Home Ent
A third year for the popular Aussie drama sees changes in many
ways.
First up, the Rafters now have a new baby and that puts pressure on
financially and emotionally. Add to that the departure of son
Nathan divorcing his wife and the death of one of their own and
it's the whole gamut that the family encounters this year.
But there's some light in it too - Carbo gets a new girlfriend in
the shape of Kiwi Hannah Marshall and there's some fun to be had
with that.
Packed To the Rafters is like an old jumper you refuse to throw out
in many ways; it's comforting, reminds you of good times and is
just comfortable - the series continues to have a life beyond its
cast changes and while the ending this year is a little more
powerful and emotional than midway through the season, that's not
necessary a bad thing.
An identifiable ensemble and a bunch of solid actors means you can
happily wile away the time with this family.
