Producer: Will Moore 7 mins) A visually and aurally stunning
journey through the heart of urban and rural New Zealand. Round
(NZ/UK 2008. Director: Kirk Hendry Producer: Libby Durdy 5 mins) A
tale of death and rebirth in a jungle world of shadowy hands. Shot
entirely using hand shadow performance, Round highlights man's
position as a footnote in the Earth's very long story. Pleasant
Concrete (NZ 2008. Director: Michael Reihana Producer: Michael
Reihana 10 mins) A visually impressive piece which investigates the
relationship between man and machine. Soaring, Roaring,
Diving (NZ 2008. Directors/Producers: Miriam Harris, Juliet Palmer
7 mins) A beautifully crafted film incorporating animation, drawing
and Super 8 film. Better Military Modelling (NZ 2008. Director:
Jill Kennedy Producer: Juliette Veber 7 mins) Set in a shifting and
illusory aquarium, Better Military Modeling re-imagines childhood
knowledge and games through a playful pastiche of images,
movement and sound. The Void (NZ 2009. Director: Gary Davies
Producers: Gary Davies, Mike Hohaia 7 mins) A late night car ride
on a quiet country road becomes a living nightmare for a young
couple when their car inexplicably plunges off the edge of physical
reality into a never-ending pitch black void. The Void will have
you perched on the edge of your seat.... In the Name of Art (NZ
2008. Director/Producer: Mardo El-Noor 12 mins) A visually
inventive story of two artists who will go to the ultimate extreme
to win the coveted prize. Things are not always what they seem!
Grace (NZ 2008. Director/Producer: Niki Hiini 3 mins) Grace is a
beloved and respected family matriarch, with a long kept secret

Explores a human plus machine hybrid. Where are we going and how
