We're all familiar with Spaghetti Westerns and Sushi Westerns - but how about Pavlova Westerns?

Dunedin film-maker Mike Wallis is putting the final touches on his Western masterpiece, filmed right here in New Zealand.

It's been a long road, but one Oscar winner is tipping Wallis to become the next Peter Jackson.
